Kabul Washington Bridge (KWB) is a nonprofit organization established to support Afghan refugees and immigrants as they begin their new lives in the United States, specifically in Washington State. Registered with the Washington Secretary of State under UBI 605 653 031, KWB was founded on December 1, 2024, by Wahid Behrooz and a group of eight dedicated individuals with shared values and a vision to serve the Afghan refugee community. Our organization’s primary mission is to provide a comprehensive support system for refugees navigating the challenges of resettlement. From offering essential resources to creating a strong sense of community, we aim to empower refugees, fostering their ability to lead self-sufficient and prosperous lives.
